Location: defense forts of the First World War, the border zone between Ukraine and Poland, Popovychi village, Mostyska district, Lviv region, near the Shegyni border crossing point .
International Festival of Arts "Fort.Missia" is one of the largest and creative festivals in Ukraine.
In 2012 "Fort.Missia" will make artistic events on both sides of the border in cooperation with Polish partners.
The festival will expand the Polish part of the unique fortifications of World War - Fort Borek.

LvivKlezFest - an attempt to recreate the lost musical culture and reproduce a part of the city history, in particular the history of Jewish quarter, which was an integral part of the Galician multicultural capital. “Normandy in Painting” Exhibition

Great collection of masterpieces by the outstanding French impressionists of the 19th – early 20th centuries is presented in Ukrainian cities, creating an imaginary world in the audience souls, drawing Normandy – one of the most beautiful regions of France – in our imagination. Here you get a chance to see paintings of such eminent artists as Courbet, Monet, Renoir, Boudin, Géricault and many others.

Lwiw- Kulturhauptstadt der Ukraine

Lwiw erhielt als erste Stadt in der Ukraine den Status der Kulturhauptstadt - 2009. Diesen Entschluss fassten einstimmig Experten der  Staatlichen  
Dies ist auch nicht erstaunlich, denn dank der entwickelten Infrastruktur und der Fülle des Kulturprogramms, hat Lwiw das größte touristische Potenzial.

Das multikulturelle Gesicht der Stadt

Seit Jahrhunderten wohnten in Lwiw Menschen verschiedener Konfessionen – hier vereinigten sich Kulturen verschiedener Völker, die einander beeinflussten und ergänzten. Am krassesten widerspiegelte es sich in der Architektur, als auch in der  spezifischen  lwiwer Redensart, in der viele Lehnwörter  aus dem Deutschen, Jüdischen und Polnischen präsent sind.

Das Fußballgesicht von Lwiw

Unsere Stadt ist stolz auf ihre Sporttraditionen. Noch 1869 wurde in den Schulen von Lwiw der Sportunterricht eingeführt.  Nicht zufällig trifft Lwiw Vorbereitungen um hier die Fußballmeisterschaft EURO 2012 zu begrüßen, denn eben in Lwiw nimmt  der  ukrainische so auch der polnische Fußball seinen Anfang.
